Stone Street North has reopened following repairs to a water main break at the North gate. The affected section between Georgiana Street and Charles Street North had been closed while town staff worked to resolve the issue.
During the break, rust particles in the water mains were disturbed, causing temporary discoloration and an iron odour. While the water remained safe under regulatory standards, residents may notice changes in colour and taste. Officials advise running cold water until it flows clear.
