For nearly 20 years, Pam Hudson has called Gananoque home, and her passion for working with children led her to the Gananoque Public Library. As the Program and Outreach Coordinator, Hudson has dedicated herself to creating engaging programs for both children and seniors.
Children’s programming has always been close to her heart, and one of her proudest achievements is the TD Summer Reading Program. Recently recognized as the best in Canada, the program’s success is especially meaningful to Hudson. “It’s incredibly satisfying,” she said, “but it’s truly a team effort every year.”
Beyond children’s initiatives, Hudson also enjoys working with local seniors, helping them learn new skills through the library’s various programs. Seeing their excitement and engagement makes her role even more fulfilling.
With her dedication and enthusiasm, Hudson continues to make the library a welcoming space for lifelong learning, ensuring both children and seniors have access to valuable educational experiences. To hear more from Pam Hudson, click the link below.
