Brockville Police responded to multiple 911 calls regarding a 40-year-old male causing a disturbance in the area of Pearl St. W. and William St on January 20th. The caller reported that the man was jumping in front of vehicles, trying to make them stop, while shouting about going to jail and accusing others of causing harm to him and others.
When officers arrived, they confronted the subject, who continued shouting erratically and nonsensically. He was arrested for causing a disturbance. Further investigation revealed that the male was under three separate probation orders at the time of the incident.
The man was held in custody and later attended a bail hearing on charges of causing a disturbance and three counts of failing to comply with probation.
