The Township of Leeds and Thousand Islands is inviting high school graduates from the class of 2024 or 2025, who plan to pursue full-time post-secondary education in 2025, to apply for the Youth Bursary Program. This program recognizes academic achievements, volunteerism, leadership, and involvement in extracurricular activities, providing a modest bursary to help support post-secondary education.
The bursary aims to assist local youth in their educational endeavors, helping to alleviate some of the financial pressures associated with higher education. Interested applicants are encouraged to visit the Township’s website for more details on eligibility criteria and to submit their applications by the deadline of March 31st.
This initiative reflects the Township’s commitment to supporting the future success of its youth and encouraging further education and community involvement.
