A 19-year-old male is facing multiple charges, including assault with a weapon, failing to attend court, violating probation, and refusing fingerprinting.
Brockville Police reported that the suspect, who had been sought by authorities, was arrested by the RCMP in Quebec on January 7, 2025.
He was then transported to the Ontario border and taken to Brockville, where he was held for a bail hearing.
The charges stem from an August 2024 incident when the suspect allegedly assaulted his 20-year-old sister by throwing an object at her.
