The St. Lawrence-Rideau Immigration Partnership (SLRIP) is conducting a research project to explore employers’ experiences and attitudes toward hiring immigrants in Leeds and Grenville. Funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, SLRIP collaborates with over 25 organizations to support immigrant integration in the region.
Open to all employers in the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville, the survey will contribute to a research paper titled “Immigrant Experiences in Leeds and Grenville: Examining Social, Economic, and Cultural Inclusion.” Findings will guide local governments, employment services, and organizations in fostering inclusive and productive workplaces.
Employers may also opt to participate in 30-40 minute interviews to provide deeper insights. Responses will remain anonymous, with only the researchers, Loretta Corbeil and Dr. Matthew Corbeil, accessing the raw data.
For details or inquiries, contact Loretta Corbeil at (343) 507-4173 or loretta_corbeil@yahoo.ca. Visit SLRIP’s website to learn more.
