A 20-year-old man was arrested in Brockville on November 10th, following a road rage incident that escalated into a physical altercation. Around 3:00 a.m., police received reports of two small groups involved in a dispute near King St. West., in front of Shoppers Drug Mart.
The groups then drove through downtown, eventually stopping near Delhi and Perth Streets, where officers found them. During their investigation, police learned of a physical altercation between two people involved.
While speaking with those present, officers noted that one driver displayed signs of impairment. A roadside breath test was administered, and the accused failed, confirming he was over the legal alcohol limit.
He was arrested, charged with impaired driving, and released with a court date; his vehicle was impounded, and his license suspended.
