Nearly $999,000 will be coming to the new Swift Waters Elementary School in Brockville for costs that have arisen since the project was initially funded and tendered.
Below grade rocks and removal of existing site soil are some of those unique costs that have bene identified.
The school will hold around 504 students, which many will be coming from Commonwealth and Toniata Public Schools.
The school is set to open in September of this year. The Ministry of Education will be providing the extra funding.
