Now we didn’t get a huge load of snow in town, but they did in the Northern part of our listening area.
That snowfall has the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshall asking that we keep fire safety in mind when digging out.
They say clearing a path to and around a fire hydrant on or near your property can help firefighters, and help save lives.
They note that in the case of a fire, every second counts.
