Those who use the Brass Point Swing Bridge and Fixed Bridges on Burnt Hills Road connecting Highway 15 and Battersea Road, are to be aware that they will be closed for work beginning Monday November 6th.
The bridges were originally built in 1887 and have various repairs done with steel spans in 1903 and new cribbing in 1978.
Repairs are now needed to ensure the safe operations continue. Parks Canada thanks the public for their understanding as work will run until November 24th.
