A warm sunny day greeted area residents who attended a special ceremony at Gananoque Town Hall Park on Thursday. A ribbon Cutting ceremony took place officially naming the bandshell after creator William “Bill” Reese. Gananoque Mayor Ted Lojko says was the perfect decision.
Lojko says the bandshell is a historical landmark in Gananoque.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place today at 4pm with MPP Steve Clark on hand, to officially unveil the new look at Town Hall Park. Mayor Lojko and Town Crier Brian Mabee will be on hand and the public is welcome to attend the ceremony.
