Joanne Lancaster volunteers and loves to help out every organization that she has time for from doing things for the Gananoque Food Banks and Salvation Army just to name a few organizations she helps out every year. She says all of the organizations she helps out, has great people associated with them, which makes volunteering fun for her. Doing this over 20 years, Lancaster says the kindness and compassion this community has is what makes this community special to her. She says this really came to the surface when COVID took place.
