Canada Day activities will be taking place in the Town of Gananoque on Friday. Joel Stone Park will be the setting beginning at 10:30am as speeches will be heard from the local Town Crier, First People’s Circle of Thousand Islands, Poet Laureate and local dignitaries. At 11am Mad Hatter’s tea party for kids will begin with cupcakes., juices, crafts, games and face painting. Live entertainment will take place at 7:45pm and the popular fireworks display ending the evening at 9:45pm.
