The 2022 EOSSAA Track and Field Championships took place this past week on May 19th and 20th at Thousand Islands Secondary School in Brockville. Over 70 schools from across Eastern Ontario competed in the two day event. Local athletes from Gananoque Secondary School experienced success. Kaylee Clark of Gananoque Secondary School, claimed a gold medal in the Girls Javelin Throw, while Devon Rayner claimed gold in Boys Long Jump. The best overall team score was by Thousand Islands Secondary School at 484.67. Top five qualifiers will head to East Regionals on May 26th and 27th.
