A new Detachment Commander has been appointed with the South Frontenac OPP. Staff Sergeant Marty McConnell will be taking over the position from the now retired Sergeant Sharron Brown. McConnell BEGAN HIS CAREER with the OPP in 2001 in Grenville County, where he worked in the Crime and Asset Forfeiture Units. McConnell recently worked as Operations Manager in Lanark County. He was quoted saying how he is honored to be the Frontenac County Detachment Commander and looks forward to leading the members and serving the public.
