The Upper Canada District School Board Champions for Kids Foundation has announced they have surpassed $2 million in funding since its beginning in 2008.
The C4K Foundation receives funding in three ways: directly from participating UCDSB employees through a voluntary payroll dedications, donations from the community, and fundraising events.
C4K President Casey Nelson says that this has been a very difficult year for many students and families, and they are grateful that the foundation has been able to carry on and support families in need.
the Foundation supports UCDSB students by helping them take part in sporting activities, music lessons or other opportunities in our communities so they can thrive beyond school walls.
