Mischief over $5000 and Break and enter are a few of the man charges that face a Kingston area male following the theft of a dump truck and other items from a fenced in compound in Kingston’s North end. Kingston Police say on October 30th at around 12:30am the accused was seen by security footage approaching a dump truck which he was able to start and drive through the gate causing damage beyond repair. It was also learned that two concrete saw had been stolen from the area. The 26 year old accused was located on Van Order Drive, arrested and held for a bail hearing.
A 26-year-old local man was charged with break and enter non-dwelling with intent to commit an indictable offence, mischief over $5000, theft under $5000, two counts breach of undertaking, and breach probation.
