Under the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program Brockville Transit users will now be able to enjoy a comfortable ride on brand new buses. MPP for Leeds Grenville Rideau Lakes and the Thousand Islands Steve Clark announced this week that the City of Brockville will now see five new buses, which will be equipped with an accessible lift and include automated stop announcement systems, fare counting aids and improved rider metric collection devices. Clark commented saying this is a great example of all three levels of government working together to make lives better for families and individuals in the community. The total cost of the fleet replacement totals $787,686 with province committing to $262,535 of the total cost.
