If you are a film enthusiast then you’ll want to head to the Brockville Performing Arts Centre for One Cold Weekend, a rebirth of the Brockville Film Festival which went by the wayside 14 years ago. 8 films will be shown beginning Friday at 2pm which will also feature a three course meal along with the viewing of two films. Spokesman for the event Tony Barnes talks about one of the films to be featured on this afternoon.
Barnes also talks about getting tickets and a full weekend schedule of events
The opening film at 11am on Saturday has more of a commercial theme.
The final film Sunday will feature funny man Adam Sandler, in a much different role.
Two films today, three on Saturday and another triple film feature on Sunday will take place throughout the weekend. Tom McSorely will also be on hand speaking on behalf of the Canadian Film Institute after the Friday dinner which Barnes said is officially sold out.
