Premier Doug Ford is calling on his fellow premiers to knock down interprovincial trade barriers and build a more united Canadian economy.
Yesterday (Wednesday), Ontario inked deals with Nova Scotia and New Brunswick to recognize goods, services, and licensed workers across borders.
The province also announced a $50-million fund to help businesses grow beyond Ontario and shield themselves from American tariff troubles.
That was Premier Doug Ford yesterday as his government introduced legislation to loosen restrictions and signed agreements with Nova Scotia and New Brunswick recognizing each other’s goods and workers.
Ford is urging all provinces and territories to get on board.
