Easter long-weekend means sweet treats will be readily available for many.
Registered Nutritionist Lianne Phillpson tells myFM in the morning that it’s okay to have a sweet tooth too, but she suggests we make sound choices.
She says its best to avoid some of the Easter classics like sugar filled, candy-coated eggs too, if at all possible.
Another thing to avoid is artificial colours, which are frequently seen in kids’ Easter baskets.
Phillipson has more tips on Easter and many others available on her website, LiannePhillipson.com.
