A 40-year-old woman has been charged with assault following a domestic dispute in Brockville on Sunday.
Police were called to Orchard Street around 10 a.m. after reports of a couple fighting.
Officers determined the woman followed her boyfriend as he tried to walk away, then struck him. He pushed her away in self-defense, but no injuries were reported.
The woman was arrested, released on conditions, and will appear in court at a later date.
