The Town of Gananoque is reminding residents and visitors that Bay Road has a posted speed limit of 40 km/h and will be actively monitored for speed compliance. The road is designated for one-way traffic, flowing from the Marina toward King Street East.
As a shared-use roadway, Bay Road is open to both vehicular traffic and recreational users, including walkers, joggers, and cyclists. The Town encourages all users to be courteous and mindful of each other’s safety.
This reminder comes as warmer weather brings increased outdoor activity.
