
A 25-year-old woman is facing impaired driving charges after a traffic stop by Brockville Police in the early hours of April 4, 2025. Around 4:30 a.m., officers pulled over a vehicle on Laurier Boulevard for a traffic infraction. During the stop, officers detected signs of alcohol consumption and administered a roadside breath test, which the driver failed.
The woman was arrested and transported to the Brockville Police Service for further testing, which confirmed her level of impairment. She was charged with operation while impaired and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration over 80mg.
As a result, her driver’s licence was suspended, and the vehicle was impounded. She was released with a future court date.
