The President of St. Lawrence College is receiving a King Charles III Coronation Medal.
Glenn Vollebregt was nominated by Ontario Minister of Colleges, Universities, Research Excellence and Security Nolan Quinn for his dedication to St. Lawrence College and contributions to communities in Eastern Ontario.
In a statement, Quinn says Vollebregt has been a tireless champion of delivering world class education, and his leadership has strengthened the workforce and the province as a whole.
Vollebregt says he is honoured by the award and is a testament of the shared committment and celebration of the community spirit.
A ceremony will take place at Rideau Hall at a future date.
