The Thousand Islands ATV Club held its meeting on March 20, 2025, at the Holiday Inn Express in Gananoque.
Key topics included preparations for the upcoming AGM in May, the successful submission of a $93,000 Trillium Grant application for trail repairs, and planning for the Mud Bog at Lansdowne Fair.
Discussions about trophies and prizes for the event resulted in a unanimous decision for trophies if sponsors are found, otherwise, medals and cash prizes will be awarded.
The club also discussed priority trail repairs, including work near the railroad tracks and the Montgomery Road section.
In addition, the Front of Yonge Township signed a land use agreement, allowing the club to continue its trail work despite concerns raised by the Triangle Cross Country Ski Club.
The club plans to continue collaborating with local organizations, aiming to enhance the area’s trail network.
