The Howe Island County Ferry remains out of service due to ongoing electrical issues with its engine. The Ministry of Transportation (MTO) is working to resolve the issue and will return to the site tomorrow to continue repairs.
Ferry crews have stated that updates will be provided as soon as more information is received from MTO.
Affected passengers are advised to check for further updates before planning their travel.
The ferry provides an important link for residents and visitors to Howe Island, and the disruption is expected to impact travel for the duration of the repairs.
