A brand-new music festival featuring an all-Canadian lineup is set to take place just north of Kingston this summer.
The Line Spike Frontenac festival will run from June 28 to 29 in South Frontenac, though organizers have not yet announced the exact venue. They are calling it one of Canada’s biggest pre-Canada Day music events.
The lineup includes Burton Cummings, Walk Off The Earth, Chantal Kreviazuk, Alan Frew, Kelsi Mayne, and Madison Galloway, with more artists to be announced.
The festival will also feature the Maple Leaf Vendor Village, showcasing Canadian-made products, from gourmet food to outdoor gear.
A presale for the general public begins March 31 at LineSpike.ca, while local residents can buy special two-day passes through Ab3 Comedy before then.
The announcement follows the launch of another all-Canadian festival, Guitars and Gasoline in Calabogie, which will feature Blue Rodeo, Josh Ross, and Theory of a Deadman.
