The Gananoque Police Service is proud to announce that Sgt. Rich Swann has been appointed as the new Chief of Police for the Town of Gananoque. A hometown hero, Chief Swann has been with the Gananoque Police Service since 1997, and was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 2015.
Born and raised in Gananoque, Chief Swann brings a deep understanding of the community and a commitment to community policing. He has been an active representative of the police service on both local and provincial committees, always striving to improve the lives of those he serves.
Looking ahead, Chief Swann plans to build on the strong foundations laid by previous Chiefs and continue to foster the positive relationship between the police and the community.
The Gananoque Police Service is excited for this new chapter under Chief Swann’s leadership.
