Residents in the Township of Leeds and Thousand Islands are being reminded to follow proper curbside collection guidelines to ensure efficient waste and recycling pickup.
Recycling must be properly sorted into two categories: containers (plastics, metal, glass) and fibers (paper, cardboard). Improperly sorted recycling will not be collected.
Garbage must be placed in transparent bags with a valid waste disposal tag. Each bag must not exceed 40 lbs to be eligible for pickup.
