Chris Wilson will be carrying the NDP banner as their candidate for the riding of Leeds–Grenville–Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes in the upcoming provincial election.
With personal experience in Ontario’s underfunded healthcare system, Wilson says he’s passionate about advocating for stronger health and mental health support. But he notes there’s another concern that ties healthcare in the minds of his riding’s voters.
Chris admits there’s much to be done to battle inflation but says the NDP has one solution they can institute immediately.
On healthcare, Chris says the NDP has several plans and the first is funding.
Marit Stiles, Leader of the Ontario NDP, supports Wilson’s candidacy, stating, “Chris is a strong addition to our team.” Wilson is a finance and risk management professional, living with Lyme Disease, and a board member at several local organizations.”
