Family Day is Monday, February 17th, and while it’s a day to relax with loved ones, it also means some changes to the usual schedule in Gananoque and the Thousand Islands.
Schools will be closed for the day, giving kids a chance to enjoy the holiday. However, local banks will also be closed, and all LCBO and Beer Store locations will be closed for the day.
If you need groceries, Metro in Gananoque will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., but Gananoque’s No Frills and Fresh Mart in Lansdowne will be closed.
Post offices across the region will be closed for the holiday, as will Gananoque’s Town Hall and the Township of Leeds and Thousand Islands municipal offices, both of which will reopen on Tuesday.
Waste sites in TLTI will also be closed on Family Day but will reopen Tuesday. Curbside pickup scheduled for Monday will resume on Tuesday.
