The results are in from the recent Blood Drive that was held at the 1000 Islands Playhouse in Gananoque on December 27th.
Despite numerous technical challenges that delayed the event, the staff on hand were able to collect a significant amount in a short period of time.
According to Community Development Manager Debbi Barfoot, with all the challenges to overcome, a total of 43 units were collected which is 74 percent of their original goal.
Barfoot thanks the donors who were willing to book a later time or another date due to the tech issues.
The next Blood Donor Clinic is set for March 28th from 2 until 6pm at the Firehall Theatre in Gan.
More details will be released in the coming weeks.
