The Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario (CDSBEO) shared its 2023-24 EQAO results and future plans during its January 2025 board meeting.
The results highlighted performance trends in grades 3, 6, and 9, shaped by recent online assessments and new curriculums. Key challenges and areas for improvement were identified in literacy and mathematics.
The board’s action plan includes collaboration, data-driven interventions, professional development, resource alignment, and ongoing monitoring to enhance student achievement.
“This report provides valuable insight into our challenges and successes,” said Chair Cummings. “I am grateful for the comprehensive action plan that will guide our next steps.”
