Gananoque Police officers on patrol arrested a 46-year-old resident from Addison on January 11th, after observing that the individual had an outstanding DNA warrant.
A traffic stop was initiated, and the individual was taken into custody.
During the search, police discovered a quantity of methamphetamine and an open container of alcohol in the vehicle.
As a result, the individual faces a charge for Possession of a Schedule I substance (methamphetamine) and a Provincial Offence Notice for having an open container of alcohol while driving.
The DNA warrant was executed, and the individual was released on an undertaking with conditions.
