The Township of Leeds and Thousand Islands is providing sand for public use to help residents stay safe during the winter season. Sand is available at two locations: 1233 Prince Street in Lansdowne and 312 Lyndhurst Road in Lyndhurst.
Residents are asked to bring their own containers, as sand is limited to 2–5 gallon (20-litre) pails or bins per household. A shovel will be provided on-site for convenience.
This initiative is designed to assist the community in maintaining winter safety. The township reminds users to adhere to the guidelines and use the service responsibly.
