The Town of Gananoque is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Sue Smith, retired Manager of Recreation, on Friday, January 3, 2025. A dedicated and long-serving employee, Sue left an indelible mark on the community through her commitment to recreation and her contributions to the town’s programs and facilities.
In her memory, flags at the Town Hall and Arena will be flown at half-mast from Thursday, January 9, to the end of the day on Friday, January 10, 2025.
Sue will be greatly missed by her colleagues, friends, and the entire community. The Town extends heartfelt condolences to her family and loved ones during this difficult time.
