At their December 17th meeting, Gananoque Town Council approved pre-budget spending of $539,450 plus HST for the removal and repair of the 700 series docks at the Gananoque Municipal Marina. This decision ensures timely upgrades to maintain the marina’s functionality and safety.
Council also passed a By-law authorizing agreements with Kehoe Marine Construction for dock removal and reconstruction, and with LaSalle Electrical Contracting Inc. for replacing and reinstalling all electrical components for the 700 series docks and main floating dock.
These investments reflect the town’s commitment to preserving its marina infrastructure, which serves as a vital resource for residents and visitors. The project is expected to enhance the marina’s overall operation and continue supporting Gananoque’s vibrant waterfront activities.
