The Gananoque Sport Courts at the Lou Jeffries Recreation Centre will remain closed until May 2025. The temporary closure affects all activities, including pickleball, tennis, and basketball, as the facility undergoes its seasonal shutdown.
The Town of Gananoque apologizes for the inconvenience and appreciates the community’s patience. The closure is part of the Town’s regular maintenance schedule to ensure the courts are in excellent condition for use during the warmer months.
“We thank everyone for their understanding and look forward to welcoming residents back to the courts in the spring,” said Robert Kennedy, Parks and Facilities Superintendent.
For more information, contact Robert Kennedy at facilities@gananoque.ca or 613-382-2149 ext. 1411.
The Town encourages residents to explore other recreational opportunities during the winter season and looks forward to a vibrant reopening in 2025
