Brockville police responded to reports of gunshots at Thousand Islands Secondary School, located at 2510 Parkedale Ave. Officers arrived shortly after 2:00 p.m on Tuesday, November 19th and a lockdown was immediately initiated to ensure the safety of students and staff.
After a thorough investigation, authorities confirmed that the reported gunshots were a false alarm. No gunshots had been fired, and no threat to public safety was identified. The lockdown was lifted once the situation was deemed safe.
