Jamie Scholuar will remain as Chair of the Upper Canada District School Board for a second consecutive year.
The Ward 3 Trustee was acclaimed Wednesday night to the position with a one-year term.
In his remarks, Scholuar said the school board is in great shape.
He added that he’s grateful to sit on such a caring board.
Scholuar was elected chair for the first time ahead of the 2023-24 school year in a silent vote over Ward 4 Trustee John McAllister.
Vice-Chair Lynda Johnston was also acclaimed to the position for a second consecutive year.
