A serious two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and an SUV on Highway 15 near Paul Boulevard in Kingston has left a motorcyclist with significant injuries. On November 7th shortly after 4:30 p.m., Frontenac OPP responded to the crash, where the motorcyclist, traveling north, collided with an SUV attempting to turn onto Paul Boulevard from the southbound lane. The motorcyclist was ejected from the vehicle, sustaining serious injuries, and was attended to by emergency services. The damaged vehicles blocked the roadway, and the highway was closed for about seven hours as the OPP Technical Collision Investigator and Reconstructionist examined the scene.
Frontenac OPP, supported by Kingston Fire Rescue and Frontenac Paramedics, is investigating the collision’s cause and is asking for public assistance. Anyone with information, dashcam footage, or doorbell camera views of the incident is encouraged to contact Frontenac OPP or report anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
