Gananoque Town Council Meetings have a NEW START TIME OF 5PM! All regular meetings of Council shall be held on the first (1st) and third (3rd) Tuesday of each month, unless otherwise determined by the Council. Call to Order and Closed Sessions of Council may vary depending on time needed for Closed Session of Council.

The Arthur Street Rehabilitation Project will be getting underway and Stone Street South to Charles Street South will be closed to motorists however local traffic will be allowed to pass through. Work begins May 6th and will run through October 25th.
Brush collection is underway in the Town of Gananoque. Be sure to have your brush leaves and yard waste out to the curb for collection on October 28th and November 15th.
Beginning July 8th at 7am through July 19th at 4pm, the watermain development project will be taking place and for a two week period King Street West will be reduced to a single lane closure. Alternate routes are available and motorists are asked to follow temporary traffic lights and signs during the single lane closure.
The Sports Courts at Jerry Park in Lansdowne will be undergoing resurfacing and several facilities will also be affected over the next couple of weeks. The recreation shed will be closed and the Multi-Use Courts will closed on July 8th. Anticipated completion is set for July 26th. The maintenance schedule is subject to change due to weather and available resources.
New Pavement and concrete will be in place throughout portions of Gananoque. Signage and detours are in place, where the work is being done. Follow the signage accordingly and give workers plenty of space.
A reminder to beach goers that due to high levels of E.coli Joel Stone Park Beach remains at a cautionary status. The Splashpad remains open and the public washrooms are also available.
