This week is National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week and Gananoque Police Service is thanking all first responders who answer, 9-1-1, police, fire and ambulance calls on a daily basis.
The week gives us all a chance to recognize and thank over 100,000 public safety telecommunicators world wide.
Gan Police thank these people for keeping us safe, their work during long shifts and for providing a calm voice.
