also….if you have not yet found safety glasses to view the upcoming Solar Eclipse. You can pick them up at Gananoque Town Hall. Other locations will have glasses available as well. Stay tuned for further details on where you can pick them up.
It is April 1st and no this is not an April Fools Joke, but the overnight parking ban is now over with until next winter in the Town of Gananoque
STUFF TO DO
The Solar Eclipse is today and a reminder to everyone to enjoy this once in a lifetime event, but do it in a safe way. If you are a local resident it is a good idea to walk to your viewing destination as traffic could be very heavy today and local roads are open to local police, fire and EMS crews. Have fun and be safe.
Share the enjoyment of good books in a relaxed atmosphere. If you like to talk about what you have been reading but feel that a book club where you read an assigned title is not for you, check out Gananoque Public Library’s Monthly Book Chat with Staff.
Come to the Thousand Islands Boat Museum for Community Cafe Mornings from 9am until noon. Enjoy company with old friends and make some new ones along the way as well every Tuesday.
A reminder that the weather has been very inconsistent this year and with that the Gord Brown Memorial Canada 150 Rink is closed for the season. The Town hopes everyone who used it, enjoyed their time and look forward to next season.
Local Sports:
