After an element of the LaSalle Causeway in Kingston was compromised during construction, crews have been working to get the bridge repaired as soon as possible.
However due to the damage that occurred and a recent assessment of the structure, it has been determined by crews that the bridge will remain closed for several weeks.
Public Services and Procurement Canada will continue to provide information and updates as it comes available.
