In another month the Solar Eclipse will be taking place and many regions have lots going on and here in Gananoque we can expect plenty of visitors. The Town has partnered with our local BIA for events leading up to the April 8th event. Town of Gananoque Administrative Assistant Lynsey Zufelt talks about what is going on.
Zufelt has more details.
Everyone must remember that eye protection during the eclipse is very important.
While protect our eyes, we must also remember to make sure kids have their eyes protected as they will be curious about the eclipse too.
Area residents and visitors to Gananoque are invited to Joel Stone Beach for a viewing party called Total Eclipse of the Park. Zufelt says it will be busy at the waterfront so get there early to get a spot to view the eclipse.
