Gananoque’s Matthew Moorhead, a child fighting leukemia, signed a one day contract with the Kingston Frontenacs, supported by Scotiabank.
As a “Front for the Day,” the 7-year-old cheered the team on as they won 7-4 over Barrie on Family Day.
Thanks to the support from KGH Pediatrics Oncology and his family and friends in Gananoque, this challenging situation became more manageable. Despite facing tough treatment, Matthew has maintained a positive attitude and a smile throughout the past year.
After the win the entire team celebrated with an emotional Matthew through the arena glass.
