Don’t put your batteries out with your garbage! Here’s where you can drop them off!

The Town of Gananoque is encouraging everyone to not put their household batteries out with their garbage as they are hazardous.

Locally a couple of places in town are accepting batteries for recycling.

Canadian Tire and Home Hardware are now accepting re-chargeable and single use batteries weighing 5kg or less each.
