Scavenger Hunt nature crafts and much more can be seen at Species at Riskmas at the Glen Elbe Learning Center in Athens. The event begins Sunday December 10th at 1pm. People of all ages can learn about and help animals who may find winter a bit tough to get through. President of the Thousand Islands Watershed Land Trust Don Ross talks about what you will see at this event.
Ross has information on how to register for this event.
Those who attend will receive a coloring and activity book that was made by students at Athens District High School. Species at Riskmas runs until 4pm and a link to register can be found on our website. Donations are also accepted on site.
